The Jublag, also called Calung, is a six-key gangsa metallophone and plays the core melody, supporting the main melody played by the giying.

Note that each key is divided into two areas (green and blue as shown below). The instrument produces very low-pitched sounds and require a high-quality sound system for best sound reproduction. The use of a high-quality headphone or external amplifier with good bass response is recommended.
